The Argon Audio Fenris A4 are compact speakers that are ideal for desktop audio and smaller rooms. Featuring built-in amplification, they help cut down on the boxes you need, while still providing great sound and excellent connectivity. Capable of handling every device from a smartphone to CD player and TV to turntable, these small speakers quickly become the heart of your entire music system.
Top quality sound
As active speakers, the Fenris A4s have four, individual amps for each drive unit. Each tweeter has 25 watts, with 50 watts for each of the woofers. Combined with a DSP (Digital Signal Processor), you get highly effective, punchy sound that’s perfectly balanced between all the frequencies. Rear bass ports improve bass efficiency for a more full-bodied sound, especially at lower volumes.
Boost the sound with optional subwoofer
If you want to boost the bass further, simply connect your choice of active subwoofer via the pre output. Argon Audio’s own range of subs provide the perfect match and are available in different sizes to suit your room size and taste.
Connect your TV
Working as a huge upgrade to most TV speakers and as a flexible alternative to a soundbar, the Fenris A4’s HDMI ARC socket is the ideal way to connect your TV. As this is an ARC (Audio Return Channel) socket, your TV’s remote control still operates the speakers’ volume, making it easy to enjoy better sound, without the need for extra remotes.
Connect your turntable
If you’d prefer to spin a record, the Fenris A4’s phono input is ideal. Compatible with MM (Moving Magnet) cartridge-equipped turntables, it means that you can plug most decks straight in, without the need for any auxiliary pre-amp boxes.
Perfect for your CD player, games console and more
As well as accepting a TV and turntable, the Fenris A4 also has analogue and optical digital inputs for a wide range of other sources. The AUX input is perfect for older components, such as a tuner or CD player without digital output. An optical input is also standard – perfect for a games console, set-top TV box or even a Blu-ray/DVD/CD player.
Bluetooth for wireless connectivity
In addition to the Fenris A4’s comprehensive selection of wired inputs, there’s also wireless Bluetooth. This convenient wireless connection makes it quick and easy to pair with your smartphone, tablet or laptop and stream music or podcasts from your favourite streaming services. Thanks to its USB charger, you can even charge your device, as well.
