Improved by the X factor
Replacing the FEP insulation with high performance XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) improves the performance of this already impressive cable. As used in their high-end Signature XL cable, XLPE outperformed other materials in listening tests. Superior insulation reduces interference, giving a smoother, more natural sound with enhanced detail.
ARAY geometry for high quality shielding
Another reason for the ClearwayX ARAY’s exceptionally transparent sound quality is the high quality shielding. Featuring Chord Company’s enhanced ARAY geometry, coupled with upgraded conductors over the C-Line model, you get extremely low levels of distortion, letting you hear more of the music’s detail. A clear protective PVC jacket is also applied, which again serves to further reduce any mechanically induced noise.
