The Chord Company SignatureX ARAY benefits from Chord’s Tuned ARAY conductor geometry. Replacing the PTFE insulation with high performance XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) improves the performance of the already impressive Signature cable. XLPE outperformed PTFE in listening tests, making it demonstrable better. Superior insulation reduces interference, giving a smoother, more natural sound with enhanced detail.
Dual layer shielding
The secondary benefit of the Chord Company’s SignatureX ARAY Power Chord is the dual layer shielding. Shielding helps resist mains borne interference that can muddy the sound.
