High quality drive units for reduced distortion
At the heart of the Rubicon 5's you'll find an SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet system. This highly specialised feature is designed to provide the most accurate speaker control and ultra-low levels of distortion. Featuring low-loss, wood fibre woofers that are based on Dali's reference grade Epicon speakers and a soft dome tweeter, the Rubicon 5 delivers a sound so accurate that it can be truly classed as 'reference' grade.
Cabinets made to the highest standards
The solid cabinets have been designed for low levels of resonance, giving low distortion and helping to promote a natural sound. Finished in a wide range of high quality designs, such as High Gloss Black or walnut veneer, there's a look to suit your decor.
The versatile speaker
Ideal for medium to larger rooms, Dali have designed the Rubicon 5 to be as flexible as possible. Able to operate effectively from just 20cm from a rear wall, the Rubicon 5's are more room friendly than other floorstanding speakers. Alternatively, if you've got the space, the 5's are just as happy at up to 1.5m from the wall. Impressive as stereo speakers, the Rubicon 5's also make ideal front speakers for a high-end home cinema system.
