Product Information
Bringing new levels of power and quality to active speakers, the Elac Navis ARF-51 stands tall.
Active speaker with sound to fill any room
Audiophile quality sound meets pure power with the Elac ARF-51. This three-way, active speaker uses multiple bass units and large cabinets to deliver room-filling, top quality sound in medium and large rooms. Unlike other active speakers, the Navis ARF-51 don’t follow a master and slave principle but makes both actively powered, giving totally purity of balance between the speakers.
Total vocal precision – from concentric cones
Placing the treble unit within the mid-range speaker gives a single point sound source – meaning the sound is cohesive and seamless. Featuring an aluminium mid-range and soft dome treble unit, the Navis ARF51 moves with total precision. This means that every detail is perfectly resolved, making vocalist’s sound like they are ‘there’ in the room with you. For the lowest distortion, a separate cabinet housing is constructed around the drive units – isolating them from the bass unit.
Dedicated bass
As a 3-way speaker, the bass units are entirely dedicated to low frequencies. This means they act like a subwoofer, concentrating on bass without having to also reproduce mid-range frequencies. Using three woofers per cabinet, the bass response is effortless, right down to subwoofer-rivalling levels. If you’d prefer to use the speakers with a separate (large) subwoofer, select a 60Hz or 80Hz cut-off for smoother integration.
300 watts of analogue control
Each speaker features three amplifiers – one for each drive unit. This helps give each speaker precise control, meaning the sound is incredibly lifelike. Analogue amps mean a rich, pure sound that perfectly complements digital and analogue sources alike.
Adjustable response
Each speaker features adjustable EQ levels for the treble, mid-range and bass. This lets you boost or reduce each frequency, for the perfect response in your room.
Balanced or phono inputs*
Each speaker has a mono input for either the left or right signal. Simply connect your pre-amp or source via RCA phono or XLR balanced connections. The option to use XLR Balanced connections enhances the sound, as the signal remains free from interference and signal loss, even over longer runs.
*Please note, a source with volume control is required as this isn’t featured within the speakers.
Optional wireless connectivity
For a top quality, wireless connection between your source and speakers, take a look at the optional Navis Air X2 transmitter. Connect your source to the Air X2 by RCA phono and enjoy a high quality and robust, wireless signal to both speakers – without needing an umbilical cord between them.
Top quality style
Immaculately finished, the Elac Navis ARF-51 looks as good as it sounds. Choose between high gloss black or white for sleek, contemporary style or gloss Ebony Emara for a more traditional look.
Built without compromise, the Elac Navis ARF-51 gives room-filling sound – without the need for a separate amp.
