Powerful, integrated receiver that has it all
This 60 watt amplifier/receiver has enough power to drive a wide range of speakers to room-filling volumes in most rooms. Thanks to the high quality circuits and components, the sound quality is every bit as good as the sound quantity. A massive range of inputs encompasses everything from a turntable to a computer via USB and a smartphone via Bluetooth.
Dynamic, low distortion sound
Optimised circuitry uses short signal paths, with high quality components for low distortion, wide bandwidth and low background noise. All analogue inputs are processed within the analogue domain, helping to maintain the unique sound of vinyl, FM and other analogue sources.
The ideal match for an Emotiva BasX power amp
Although the BasX TA1 is a self-contained, integrated amplifier, pre-amp outputs make it easy to upgrade to a larger power amp – such as the 160 watt BasX A2. Outputs also include high-pass with dedicated low-pass subwoofer output, making this pre-amp tailor-made for a 2.1 sub/sat speaker system.
Wide range of inputs, including phono pre-amp for turntable
The TA1 offers an amazing array of inputs for the price. The built-in phono pre-amp is a standout feature, as it’s switchable for both MM and MC cartridges (Moving Magnet and Moving Coil), making it compatible with just about any turntable on the market. There are two additional line level inputs for other analogue sources. Thanks to the built-in DAC, you can also connect a wide range of digital components.
Built-in DAC
Fitted with a high quality Analog Devices DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor), the BasX TA1 also makes a great choice for connecting your digital sources. Use the asynchronous USB input for connecting your home computer and enjoy Hi-res music streaming. For other sources, such as your CD/DVD/Blu-ray player, TV or games console, there are also coaxial and optical inputs – all of which are compatible with Hi-res files up to 24bit/192kHz.
Bluetooth for wireless connectivity
For wireless connectivity, there’s also Bluetooth. The AptX HD capable receiver makes the perfect match for your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Simply pair and stream from your favourite music or podcast providers or play stored music directly from your device.
Built-in FM tuner
If this comprehensive range of analogue and digital connectivity weren’t enough, the TA1 also features a built-in FM tuner. Perfect for catching up on the local or national news, music, sport and radio drama, the FM tuner is an added bonus.
