Using advanced input circuitry, the DR version of the XPA-2 amplifier is a cut above. Producing an incredibly accurate and pure sound, the XPA-DR2 lets you hear every breath of the music. With a mighty 550 watts per channel (800 watts into 4 ohms), power is never an issue with the XPS-DR2. Using a regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), this amp blends traditional Class A/B and Class H technologies for the perfect blend of quality and power.
Modular construction for upgrade potential
Modular construction means the XPA-DR power amps can be configured from 2 to 14 channels. This not only helps reduce the cost but also lets you upgrade the power amp in the future. Return the amp to Emotiva’s US base and have additional channels installed, without having to change your amp.
Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs for system flexibility
For maximum system flexibility, the XPA-DR2 comes with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs. For best results, match with an Emotiva pre-amp and use the balanced XLR connections for strong synergy and high levels of resistance to electrical interference. RCA phono inputs and a well-balanced sound, also make this power amp ideal for use with other brands of pre-amps.
