The Emotiva XPA HC-1 is a mono block power amp of exceptional talent and ability. Use two of these power amps with your hi-fi system and you’ll enjoy mighty power, incredible speaker control and ‘wall of sound’ staging. At half the width of Emotiva’s usual amps, two units fit comfortably on a single shelf or are less obtrusive when placed next to the speakers.
The power to impress
With advances in power supply technology, the XPA HC-1 balances power, quality and cost effectiveness to perfection. Using a regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), this amp blends traditional Class A/B and Class H technologies for the perfect blend of quality and power. With a mighty 300 watts per channel (600 watts into 4 ohms), power is never an issue with the XPA HC-1.
Purity to match the power
Unlike some, digital only, power amps, the XPA HC-1 also utilises an analogue Class A/B amplifier stage. This preserves the music’s emotion and ‘flow’ in a way that many digital amps struggle to convey.
Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs for system flexibility
For maximum system flexibility, the XPA HC-1 comes with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono inputs. For best results, match with an Emotiva pre-amp or processor and use the balanced XLR connection for strong synergy and high levels of resistance to electrical interference. The RCA phono input and a well-balanced sound, also make this power amp ideal for use with other brands of preamps and processors.
