Big screen without the hassle – ultra-short throw
If you want a big screen in a smaller room, an ultra-short throw projector is the way to go. Choose a screen size from 65 inch to a whopping 120 inch, with the projector just 40 to 82cm from the screen. The EH-LS500B sits comfortably on a table or cabinet in front of the wall, making it a lot less intrusive than regular projectors.
PRO-UHD 4K enhanced for the crispest image
PRO-UHD 4K enhanced takes native Full HD (1080p) resolution and uses sophisticated 4K Enhancement processing lets the EH-LS500 double its frame rate, creating crisp and clear images. Although not strictly a 4K projector, it gives it a much more detailed, denser image than an equivalent Full HD version. The EH-LS500 also supports 4K streaming services from providers such as Netflix.
Superior picture quality
Epson’s 3LCD technology gives the EH-LS500B up to three times brighter colours than other projector technologies. The incredible contrast ratio of 2,500,000:1 demonstrates the realism of images, with inky blacks and vivid colour.
Bright enough for ‘lights-on’ movie nights
Exceptional brightness of 4000 lumens means the EH-LS500B is happy during daylight and ‘lights on’ conditions. Unlike other projectors, the colour doesn’t ‘wash out’ as the light in the room increases.
Easy to use
HDMI inputs make this projector easy to use. What’s more, there’s room to store a streaming device in a hidden bay at the front, giving a very neat appearance. Built-in stereo speakers mean the Epson EHLS500 is ready to go out of the box, although for the best sound we’d recommend connecting to a soundbar or base.

Coming complete with an Android TV streaming stick, you get instant access to a huge range of TV and entertainment. Choose from a huge range of services, including your favourites, such as BBC, Netflix and YouTube. The simple-to-use remote control also features voice search, with built-in Google Assistant – perfect for navigating your way through the huge range of entertainment options.

Featuring three HDMI sockets, there’s plenty of room for all your devices, including UHD Blu-ray player, games console and Android TV streaming device. There’s USB charging for powering your streaming device. An RS-232C interface means the projector can also be controlled by a home automation system.
