The Escape M1 Air is a wi-fi streaming DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) that transforms your P9 speaker or other system to a fully-fledged music streamer. Compatible with AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Roon, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth, the M1 Air answers every streaming wish.
Transform your P9 speaker
Designed specifically for Escape’s P9 speaker, the M1 Air sits within a dedicated compartment, under the removable keyboard. Simply connect to the P9’s 3.5mm input and power via the USB, update the software and you’re good to go. The P9 is now a fully functioning, wireless streaming speaker.
Update your existing system
More than just an update for the P9, the M1 Air also serves as a wireless music server for any system with an AUX input. The 3.5mm output delivers a digital or analogue signal, making it compatible with all types of speakers and hi-fi systems. A mains USB charger is supplied for power, as are all the required connection cables (optical and 3.5mm – RCA analogue).
Choose your wireless connection
For ultimate flexibility with your existing wireless music ecosystem, the Escape M1 Air offers connection choices. For Apple users there’s AirPlay 2. If you prefer the Google Android system, built-in Chromecast is on hand. A third option is Roon – this system works between different brands to deliver Hi-Res music around your home. Whichever option you choose, a huge range of music streaming options are available – all under easy control from your smartphone or tablet.
App control
Available for Apple iOS and Android, the free Escape Remote app unlocks an added layer of functionality. A 5-band equaliser lets you tune the sound to perfection and, if you’ve got other Escape speakers, the app lets you effortlessly switch between them.
Bluetooth connectivity
For quick and easy wireless playback, the M1 Air also features Bluetooth connectivity. Pair with your smartphone or tablet and access your favourite streaming services, such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or TIDAL.
