Reference quality DAC from ESS
At the heart of this high performance DAC is a reference quality converter chip from ESS. The Sabre ES9038Pro pairs with a XMOS XU316 processor to deliver the highest resolution and lowest distortion possible, making your music sound more lifelike than ever.
Professionally calibrated for the lowest distortion
Highly experienced in circuit design, the engineers at Eversolo have calibrated the circuits for the highest possible signal-to-noise ratio while simultaneously delivering the highest dynamic range. This means that you get a vast expanse of sound, from the softest to the loudest notes, without the background hiss and low-level distortion that can sometimes come with it.
Supports Hi-Res Audio
Thanks to its powerful processor, the DAC-Z8 works wonders with all types of Hi-Res Audio music files. Connect via USB and you can stream files in studio quality at up to 32 bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512. Coaxial and optical digital inputs support 24 bit/192kHz and DSD64. The DAC also supports MQA files, enabling master quality music playback from compatible sources.

With both USB-B and USB-C inputs you can connect a wide range of desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. Compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, the vast majority of OS systems are covered, too. For other devices, such as a CD transport, network streamer or set-top TV box, there are optical and coaxial digital inputs.

Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth and, thanks to the top quality Qualcomm interface, you get to hear wireless Bluetooth music at its best. Compatible with apt HD and LDAC, you get the potential for better than CD quality from your Hi-Res music files.
Balanced outputs
Using a fully balanced audio circuit, distortion is kept to the lowest levels possible. To maximise its full potential, Eversolo has fitted the DAC-Z8 with XLR balanced outputs. Use these to connect to a compatible amplifier and you’ll hear the DAC perform to its best ability. RCA phono outputs are also fitted, with the ability to switch either type of output off for reduced interference.
High performance headphone amp
More than just a top quality DAC, this Eversolo also makes a great headphone amp. The dedicated amp is powerful enough to drive a wide range of headphones from 16 – 300 ohms. High and low gain options let you tailor the sound to suit your headphones, with a smooth-acting volume control to hand for precise adjustment.
Full colour display
The full colour display is configurable to show a wide range of handy info. Adjust the settings, check the audio source or file type or simply enjoy the show with cool VU metres pulsing to the beat. For enhanced features, simply download the EVER SOLO Controller app and control via Bluetooth.
