Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for three-dimensional sound
Dolby Atmos uses two upwards firing speakers (5.1.2 mode) built-in, to produce a multi-dimensional, immersive sound that's a match for the finest cinemas. DTS:X also pushes the boundaries of what you can expect from home cinema. Thanks to that upward-firing speaker array, the SL10YG bounces sound off the ceiling for a totally immersive sound. Heavy rainfall and aircraft flying overhead now sound so true-to-life that the effects will have you diving for cover.
Meridian technology for class-leading sound
Responsible for some of the finest home and car hi-fi, Meridian is at the cutting edge of digital audio. With their technology on board, the SL10YG’s digital processing is greatly enhanced, giving you a huge step-up in sound quality. Meridian technology means total precision, with incredible detail and sound effects placed all around your room.
Dedicated subwoofer for powerful bass
The fully immersive sound is backed up at the bottom end with a wireless subwoofer. This gives action movies and music serious muscle. The wireless connection means that it can be placed anywhere in the room, regardless of how close it is to the soundbar (mains power required).
Take it to the next level with optional rear speakers
For even greater sonic thrills, optional wireless speakers are available (model number SPK8-S kit). These sync with the soundbar to give you the true sensation of cinema sound. The wireless speakers use a dedicated receiver, meaning there’s no need for wires running from the front to the back of your room.
Smart voice control – with Google Assistant built-in
Voice control has got much smarter with this LG soundbar. To get started simply say, “Hey Google” for easy access to a wide range of voice-controlled searches. Google Assistant integrates with services such as Google Photos and Google Maps to make your soundbar an even greater source of entertainment.

At the heart of the LG is a top quality audio system that’s compatible with Hi-Res music files. Hi-Res sound gives greater detail and a more natural sound. The SL10YG is compatible with a range of HD audio formats, including FLAC 192kHz-24-bit for exceptional sound quality.
