With the final sound quality spec meticulously tuned by Marantz’s Sound master, you can be assured of ultimate resolution and musicality. At its heart, a toroidal power transformer delivers smooth, consistent power with high efficiency and low mechanical noise. Using their unique HDAM-SA2 (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules), the sound quality is lifelike and dynamic with a rich and spacious tone that’s unique to the brand.

Copper-bottomed perfection
For the highest standards of noise resistance and isolation, the top-level Cinema 30 uses a copper-plated chassis. Found only in the top-level Marantz ranges, this expensive detail shows their dedication to sonic perfection.

Enveloping, 11.4-channel sound for full flexibility
Giving you totally enveloping sound, this Marantz lets you configure four ceiling or Atmos-enabled speakers as well as full 7-channel surround sound. Alternatively, use two Atmos speakers and enjoy a broad soundstage with 'front wide speakers' forming a 9.4.2 system. If you don't fancy a Dolby Atmos specific system but want the most immersive sound possible, go for an 11.2 configuration. This offers 7.4 sound with the addition of front width and front height speakers.

Take it to the next level - 13-channel processing
If you’ve got a larger room or simply want the next level in enveloping sound, connect an additional stereo power amp and enjoy the added immersion of 13-channel sound processing. This facilitates a 9.4.4 system, with four ceiling speakers and front width speakers combined. Alternatively, configure as a 7.2.6 system with six ceiling speakers – ideal for larger rooms.

Ultimate power
With 140 watts per channel, this is Marantz’s most powerful Cinema AV unit. This level of power means that even in the largest rooms and with the most demanding speaker, the Cinema 30 is always in full control. With a vice-like grip on the audio, it delivers explosive dynamics with edge-of-seat drama and excitement.

Your choice of 3D sound formats
Whatever speaker configuration you decide upon, the Cinema 30 has a surround format to suit. Compatible formats include Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology, DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced and Auro-3D. This vast range of options means you can adapt your surround sound speaker system from the simplest system with ‘virtual height’ speakers to full-blown 13.4 systems that truly bring the cinema home.

Quad subs for balanced bass
For the best-balanced bass, the Cinema 30 has four passive subwoofer outputs. This lets you place a subwoofer in each corner of the room, giving a smooth, even bass response. With four bass channels, you can also use smaller subwoofers. This gives you a tighter, punchier bass whilst not missing out on bass weight and depth.

Acoustic room correction by DIRAC Live* or Audyssey
Thanks to state-of-the-art digital room correction from DIRAC, the Cinema 30 offers pro-level room optimisation. DIRAC live uses a USB microphone (not included) and dedicated PC software to take multiple readings around your room and feed the information back to the amplifier for a completely bespoke response (professional set-up recommended).

MultEQ XT32 for simple room set-up
In addition to DIRAC, the Cinema 30 also features set-up optimisation from Audyssey's high-end MultEQ XT32 system. The XT32 version of this automatic measuring and set-up device features include Audyssey Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, LFC and SubEQ HT for total control. If you want to take this even further, purchase the MultEQ Editor App (at additional cost) and you've access to advanced user settings.

Range-topping connectivity, including 8K compatible HDMI interface
As Marantz’s range-topping Cinema AV unit, you get no fewer than seven HDMI inputs – all of which are 8K and 4K/120Hz ready, for a fully Ultra High Definition future. Two of the three outputs are 8K compatible, too.
