Monobloc design for sonic purity
Configured as two, independent monoblocs and a separate pre-amp, the M6si separates the circuits for a purer sound. By having separate channels for the right and left signals, you get less interference between the two, giving a purer, less distorted and more spacious sound.
Class-leading power
With a class-leading 220 watts per channel at its disposal, the M6si isn’t troubled by large spaces, inefficient speakers or high volumes. Even at lower volumes, however, that power makes its presence felt. Like driving a car with an oversized engine, the power is always there – even at lower volumes. In the case of the M6si, this means you get a deep, dynamic sound with true bass depth – even at modest listening levels.
Wide range of inputs
With balanced inputs and four line level inputs, the M6si handles all your sources. For recorders there’s a line out. If you want to add an upgraded power amp at a later date, the pre out connections make this possible. Further connectivity highlights include USB-B and phono.
Balanced input option
For pro-quality connectivity, the M6si features balanced XLR inputs. Connect these to a compatible source (such as a CD player or streamer with XLR outputs) and you get a ‘locked in’ connection, with the ability to run a far longer cable, without a drop off in performance.
Connect your computer via synchronous USB-B
A star feature of the M6si is the asynchronous USB interface. This type of USB interface is the best for computer audio as it bypasses your computer’s built-in soundcard and instead utilises the high quality 24-bit DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) built into the M6si. With the amp effectively controlling the output from your computer, it can deliver audio from your computer to its highest potential.
Built-in MM/MC phono stage
As well as the USB interface and other inputs, the M6si comes with a superior quality MM/MC (Moving Magnet/Moving Coil) phono stage. This improves on the lower models by suiting a wider range of cartridges, including the rarer but higher quality MC type. Whichever type of cartridge you use, the low noise phonostage delivers impressive detail and balance – just like the rest of the amp.
Quality case – in black or silver
Featuring a stylish metal case, the M6si looks as good as it sounds. For the perfect match with your existing system, the case can be had with either a black or silver front panel.
Enjoy a more powerful sound, with the Musical Fidelity M6si.
