Just as with other Primare 35-series components, the Primare delivers class-leading sound quality. High quality, carefully matched components extract every detail of musical nuance from your vinyl. The low noise power supply, with toroidal transformer, is fully isolated from the other electronics. This lets them operate in a ‘quiet’ environment for even cleaner, more precise sound.
Fully adjustable to suit your MM cartridge
At the rear of the R35, you’ll find fully adjustable cartridge loading switches. These let you adjust the gain, capacitive and resistive loads to precisely suit your cartridge. Find your cartridge’s specs in your manual or online and adjust the switches to suit, giving you perfectly tailored sound.
Fully adjustable to suit your MC cartridge
Just as with MM cartridges, the R35 is also fully adjustable to suit a wide range of MC (Moving Coil) cartridges. Gain, capacitive and resistive loads are all fully adjustable to precisely match your cartridges output.
Subsonic filter to protect your speakers
Operating below 20Hz, the switchable subsonic filter protects your speakers from the ‘cone flap’ caused by warped records and turntable bearing noise.
Balanced XLR output option
For outputting the signal to your amp, you’ve a choice of balanced XLR/Cannon or RCA phono outputs. If you’re using the R35 with a matching Primare 35 series amp, we’d highly recommend using the XLR sockets as this will give you the cleanest signal and lowest distortion.
