Using specially selected low-noise ICs, the Pro-Ject Phono Box gives an excellent signal to noise ratio. This means you hear more detail from the music and less background noise. For excellent sound staging, the Phono Box also uses dual-mono circuitry. Usually only found in much more expensive amplifiers, this type of circuitry gives the purest balance of sound possible. Another feature helping to reduce the possibility of interference is the outboard power supply. By mounting this in the plug, the chances of electrical interference within the phono stage are greatly reduced.
Metal casing
A full metal casing ensures the delicate electronics within are shielded from both mechanical and electrical interference. The casing's rounded edges not only improve the aesthetics but also add rigidity to the box, further minimising sonic distortion. As a final audiophile touch, all the RCA phono sockets are gold-plated.
