Optimised phono pre-amp, built-in
The T2 Super Phono delivers on its plug-and-play potential with a built-in phono pre-amp. The circuit amplifies the signal, meaning that you can plug the deck into any line level AUX input, greatly increasing the range of potential amplifiers. The quality design provides low noise and high detail but is switchable should you upgrade your amp or switch to an MC (Moving Coil) cartridge.
The basis of a great deck
CNC-machined from wood rather than moulded from plastic, the T2 Super Phono’s plinth is rigid for a neutral, uncoloured sound. Combined with vibration absorbing feet, it also protects the delicate tonearm and cartridge from unwanted resonance. A heavyweight glass platter provides stable inertia, letting your music flow without instability.
High-grade, aluminium tonearm
Confirming its hi-fi credentials, the Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono is supplied with a high quality tonearm. Made from a single piece of aluminium, the arm tune is both light and rigid. Combined with the low-friction gimbal bearing, it delivers precise tracking for the most detailed and dynamic sound quality. Fitted with spring-loaded anti-skate and weight controls, it’s adaptable to a wide range of cartridges although, out of the box, it’s pre-set for the supplied Sumiko cartridge, making it ready to go.
Fitted with top quality Sumiko Rainier cartridge
Part of the standard package includes a pre-fitted Sumiko Rainer cartridge. This highly regarded cartridge gives a natural and spacious sound that’s at home with all types of music. Being part of a modular range, it can also be further upgraded by the fitment of Sumiko Olympia or Moonstone styli.
Choice of finishes
The simple, elegant styling gives the T2 Super Phono a sleek and timeless appearance. Available in gloss black, satin white or walnut, there’s a colour to suit your system and decor. All models come with a removable dust lid.
