Packing a streaming module, top quality preamp, state-of-the-art DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) and punchy power amp, the PS Audio Stellar Strata just needs speakers or headphones to go. Each section is carefully developed, meaning you get the full PS Audio experience, whatever you’re listening to.
Ready to stream – with wi-fi built-in
Download the PS Connect App, join the Stellar Strata to your network (Ethernet or wi-fi) and start streaming your music. The app lets you both stream stored music files or access your favourite music streaming services, such as Spotify, Qobuz, TIDAL and more.
GainCell, preamp for smooth, rich sound
At the heart of this versatile system is PS Audio’s exclusive GainCell technology. This uses a unique method of volume control that doesn’t require additional components in the signal path. Fewer components mean a cleaner, more focused sound.
High power output
Handing the baton from preamp to power amp sections, the signal is boosted by a punchy 100 watt amplifier (at 8 ohms). The high current power amp produces effortless dynamics, bringing your music to life. It also has ample power to be able to drive a wide range of speakers – meaning you’re not limited to just the more efficient ones.
DAC for Digital inputs
The built-in DAC does more than process your streaming music, it also lets you connect a wide range of digital components. With its I2S port (HDMI), you can connect digital components and stream at the highest quality (384kHz). The DAC caters for many other digital inputs, too. For a laptop or PC you’ll find a USB-B connection. Other audio sources are accommodated via the optical and twin coaxial inputs.
Analogue inputs
For the highest quality analogue input use the balanced XLR sockets. For all your other sources, there are three RCA phono, line level inputs. Thanks to the audio output, you can wire up older, analogue recording equipment. If you’ve got a treasured cassette deck or reel-to-reel, this system happily accepts it, too.
Class A headphone amp
Featuring a dedicated, Class A, headphone amplifier, the Stellar Strata also makes the most of your headphones. The 6.35mm headphone jack suits high-end headphones and there’s plenty of current on hand to drive them to their full extent.
For sound that’s greater than the sum of its PS Audio parts, just add speakers.
