HDR and 4K for top quality picture detail
For the best possible picture, the Sharp 50DJ2K uses a 4K screen with HDR compatibility. From gaming to streaming boxsets and movies, 4K has now become the mainstream premium standard. It offers four times the resolution of 1080p FHD, for detail that ‘pops’. Making the most of the 4K resolution, standard HDR10 and HLG optimise the image quality. Both HDR formats help maximise the detail and colour tones, especially in darker parts of the picture.
Smooth, flowing images
This Sharp 50 inch TV uses their ACE Pro Ultra picture-processing engine for a fast and efficient response. Active Motion 400 technology delivers smooth, blur-free motion, especially when watching fast moving sports events and action movies.
Harman Kardon and DTS for sound that’s a cut above
Famed for their home hi-fi and car audio speakers, Harman Kardon audio technology gives the Sharp 50DJ2K sound that’s more detailed and full-bodied than its rivals. The Sharp 50DJ2K also features Freeview Play. This combines catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make it easy to watch what you want, when you want. It's free from subscription and compatible with existing broadband services, while BBC iPlayer, All 4 and Demand 5 are available without having to open specific apps, giving effortless scroll-back TV (requires broadband Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2Mbps).
