MusicCast for music all around your home
The Yamaha WX010 is part of Yamaha's hugely impressive network audio system, MusicCast. With MusicCast you can control all your compatible Yamaha MusicCast products via your smartphone or tablet. Play the same music on all the components or split the sound into different zones for different moods in each room; the choice is yours. The MusicCast CONTROLLER app also lets you operate the speaker and change settings quickly and easily.
Advanced networking including Apple AirPlay and Bluetooth
Built-in Apple AirPlay means that you can stream music from your Apple iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad or other compatible Apple device, wirelessly. If you use another brand of smartphone or tablet then you've also got Bluetooth, for easy music streaming from your portable device.
Wi-Fi and DLNA for effortless streaming
Also standard with the WX010 is Wi-Fi, giving easy connection to your home network. A DLNA certified connection makes streaming a breeze. You can access your stored music from PC, laptop or NAS drive and listen to Internet radio stations and music services such as Spotify, Napster and Qobuz.
Bluetooth output for connecting up headphones
As an added bonus, the Yamaha WX-010 features a Bluetooth output. This lets you wirelessly stream music to compatible Bluetooth headphones or even another Bluetooth speaker - perhaps placed outside.
Twin ABRs for powerful bass
A two-way speaker system gives a crisp, clear sound, throughout the frequency range. With twin ABRs (Auxiliary Bass Radiator) either side of the unit the bass is also powerful enough to easily fill most rooms.

Use the MusicCast app and you can pair up two WX-010 speakers for stereo sound. Perfect in larger rooms or wherever you prefer a more immersive, stereo sound, this function doubles the ability of this already impressive speaker.
