Mighty bass response As the only model in the 700 S3 Signature Series to use three, dedicated bass cones, the 702 S3 signature produces bass that’s deep enough to rival an active subwoofer. Developed via CAD (Computer Aided Design), the 702 S3 Signature’s bass woofers use variable thickness cones for light weight and maximum rigidity where needed. The result is a fast, responsive bass that sticks to the beat like glue.
Mid-range realism First developed for Bowers & Wilkins’ flagship 800-series, the Continuum woofer design plugs the gap between bass and treble with exceptional smoothness. The highly developed design features a revised motor system in the Signature model, helping it to sound even more lifelike and vibrant in the mid-range.
Iconic tweeter housing for the most spacious sound Bowers and Wilkins’ separate tweeter housing has been a design signature of theirs for several decades now. The separate housing reduces top-end distortion and also helps promote a wider spread of sound, giving you a holographic, ‘reach in’ soundstage.
Hear pin-sharp detail with Carbon Dome tweeters Purpose-built for the 700 Series, Carbon Dome tweeters elevate this speaker’s top-end detail. With a far higher breakup threshold than aluminium tweeters, they greatly reduce harmonic distortion, giving a natural purity to the highest frequencies that’s hard to beat.
