A silk dome tweeter gives the ideal combination of crisp detail with a smooth refined sound. Matching this is a custom-designed woofer with a treated paper cone. It might sound basic, but it gives the Minx XL speakers a fast, responsive sound quality with a bass that's larger than you might expect from this size of speaker.
Top build quality
Ensuring the drive units sound their very best, the Minx XL uses rigid MDF cabinets. Designed to minimise standing waves, the cabinets help further in producing a clean, accurate sound. For a well-balanced bass, even at lower volume levels, the Minx XL speakers are rear ported. Using them close to a wall? Dampen the ports with the provided foam inserts, for a sound more suitable for the room.
Sleek finish
Finished in a deep and lustrous gloss black or white, the Minx XL speakers are the perfect match for the Minx XI system. Even with other systems, they're amongst the best-looking speakers at their price and feature some neat detailing. The drive units, for example, are recessed and have hidden fixings giving better sound-staging for a more accurate rendition of the music.
