Product Information
”The top end is sweet while the mid and bass have just a touch of added
richness... this one deserves to go on the shortlist.” ’What Hi-Fi?’ – 5 Star review.
Inspired by the TITAN flagship
Drawing upon experience learned from their flagship TITAN amplifier, the Musical Fidelity M2si makes an inspired choice for any audiophile. For the very best sound quality possible, Musical Fidelity have eschewed any circuitry that’s not strictly necessary. That means that there’s no phono pre-amp, digital inputs or headphone socket. What there is, however, is the finest electronics and case quality that’s possible at this price, giving you an amp that looks and sounds a class (or two) above the norm at this level.
The power to impress
Featuring a low noise toroidal power transformer and substantial output capacitors, the M2si manages a comfortable 72 watts per channel. In the tradition of many Musical Fidelity amplifiers, this gives it ample power to drive current hungry speakers to high levels. Connect to 4 ohm speakers and the power jumps to an even more impressive 137 watts per channel.
Hear every note
It’s not just the power that impresses with this Musical Fidelity amp, it’s the quality, too. A fully discrete Class A/B power amp design ensures a crisp and dynamic sound. The separate pre-amp section features its own power supply and a high quality Burr Brown volume control, promoting greater sonic accuracy and lower distortion.
Wide range of inputs
With no fewer than six line level inputs, the M2si easily handles all your line-level sources. One of the inputs can be switched to ‘HT’ for a direct connection with your home cinema amp, using the M2si to drive your front speakers. For recorders there’s a line out, too. If you want to add an upgraded power amp at a later date, the pre-out connections make this possible.
Quality case – in black or silver
Featuring a stylish metal case, with milled aluminium front panel and volume control, the M2si looks as good as it sounds. For the perfect match with your existing system, the case can be had with either a black or silver front panel.
Enjoy a higher standard of sound, from the multi-award-winning Musical Fidelity M2si.
