Product Information
A winning amp made better, the Tangent Ampster BT II has the same great combination of sound and compact dimensions but comes packed with even more handy features.
Punchy performer
Despite its compact size, the Tangent Ampster BT II is ‘full fat’ when it comes to power output. With its 2 x 25 watt power output, this baby amp has ample power to deliver room-filling sound in small and medium-sized spaces. For extra bass, simply hook up your choice of active subwoofer to the dedicated sub output.
Wireless Bluetooth connection
Connect to your smartphone or tablet and listen out loud, without the hassle of cables. The quality Bluetooth 4.0 connection ensures a high quality, low loss connection for a smooth and lifelike sound.
Wire up your TV and music sources, too
Featuring an optical digital input and two line level inputs, this little amp has the capacity for connecting a full system. You can use the optical digital or AUX inputs for your TV, leaving the other sockets available for the matching Tangent Tuner and CD player – or any other sources components.
Wake on Bluetooth and AUX
Helping save you energy, the Ampster BT II switches into standby when no Bluetooth signal is detected. Once a music signal is detected, it wakes automatically – as it does with an AUX input, too. This is ideal when used with a network device, such as Chromecast Audio, Apple AirPort Express or similar product, as Ampster BT II turns on as soon as you start playing music through your network.
Compact size
Narrower than most Hi-Fi separates, the compact Tangent Ampster BT II fits tighter spaces. The matching tuner and CD player make up a neat system that has the convenience of a mini system with the sound quality of separates.
System remote control and outboard IR sensor
The supplied remote control doesn’t just operate the amp, it also controls a full tangent system, including CD player and tuner – making the full Tangent system every bit as convenient as an all-in-one system. Also included is an outboard IR (InfraRed) sensor. This lets you place the amp out of sight while still maintaining full remote control – perfect if your system’s in a cabinet.
Give your listening experience a boost, with the Tangent Ampster BT II.
Easy to use, compact and stylish, the Denon DP-29F turntable makes it simple to get the best from your vinyl.
Unbeatable heritage
Founded in 1910, Denon has over 110 years’ experience in audio and is one of the longest established hi-fi companies in the world. Since being at the forefront of gramophone technology in 1910, they went on to lead with professional disc cutting devices, LPs, audio cassette, professional and domestic CD, home cinema, DVD and much more. This unparalleled experience means you can be assured of the best performance-per-pound from the Denon DP-29F.
Lifelike sound quality
Set-up and ready to go, the DP29F doesn’t require any complicated or fiddly set-up. The fitted cartridge is perfectly aligned, ensuring you hear plenty of detail from the record’s grooves. The belt-drive system naturally damps motor noise, giving you a quiet backdrop and smooth stability.
Easy to use, fully automatic design
For ease of use, the DP-29F is a fully automatic design. Simply select the size of the record and the tonearm starts at just the right place. It also features auto-return, so you don't need to worry about damaging the stylus at the end of the record.
Connects to any system with an RCA AUX input
The built-in phono stage means that you don't even need to use an amplifier or system with a dedicated turntable input - any system with an RCA AUX input will do (extra cost adaptor required for 3.5mm AUX input). If you do have an amp with a phonostage built-in, however, you can turn off the Denon’s, making it completely flexible with compatible amps.
Compact and stylish
At 360mm wide and taking up not much more space than an LP’s footprint, this Denon turntable fits where others don’t. The smart silver design stands out from the crowd but uses a matte finish for practicality.
Enjoy your vinyl, in style, with the Denon DP-29F.
Speaker legends don't get much bigger than the Wharfedale Diamond 9.0.
The original small hi-fi speaker
It's hard to believe that the original Wharfedale Diamond is now past its fortieth birthday. All those decades ago, it was the Diamond speaker that proved, for the first time, that excellent quality sound could be achieved from a small, budget speaker. Since then there have been dozens of imitators, but the Diamonds remain amongst the best available.
Solid construction
The cabinet isn't just compact, it's also very solid. This combination gives the Diamonds an extremely accurate sound quality as the cabinet doesn't flex or vibrate. Equally impressive are the drive units. A soft dome tweeter gives the clarity and smoothness of sound you'd expect from a more expensive speaker, while the woofer cone uses a carbon fibre type weave to offer extremely taut and responsive bass.
Surprisingly powerful
With a front port, these bass reflex speakers are punchier than you might expect and in no way could they ever be described as tinny. Over all, they may be small but the sound is grown-up, with excellent staging, realism and surprisingly powerful.
Hi-fi connections
It's not just the major aspects of the design that Wharfedale have got right, it's the details, too. Proper 4mm banana sockets will accept thick cable and offer the best type of connection. Threaded sockets at the rear make for secure and easy bracket attachment.
Even at their original price, these speakers were clearly market leaders. Now we're offering them at this bargain price, the Diamond 9.0 speakers are a gem of a deal!
