Highlights include a Laser Pickup Floating Mechanism, which isolates the laser pickup from harmful vibrations and Yamaha’s Intelligent Digital Servo, which monitors speed, signal and tracking and adjusts for the most accurate response possible.
Pure Direct for the most natural response
Pure Direct is a feature that will be familiar to Yamaha AVR and amplifier owners. Switching it on shuts down the digital output and turns off the display, greatly reducing the electrical ‘noise’ inside the player. Less noise means more detail, giving you a purer, more lifelike sound.

This Yamaha CD also makes the ideal player for your digital music files. Thanks to its easily accessible USB port on the front panel, simply transfer digital music files to a USB memory device, then plug and play.
